Babies and Toddlers

Call all little adventurers and their caregivers! The Magic House is hosting a new toddler-friendly playdate, Mini Morning Mingles, that includes a special story time, and hands-on activities designed to engage early learners and little hands. There will also be plenty of time for little adventurers and their caregivers to mingle as you enjoy private playtime in one of the exhibit spaces at The Magic House.

Bring your little ghouls and goblins in their favorite costumes to the Main Street historic district in St. Charles for trick or treating from Main Street merchants.

Enjoy a street festival featuring a children's area, live performances, face painting, the Fish Eye Photo Booth, drone demos, crafts, games, food trucks and lots more hosted by NINE PBS and St. Louis Public Radio. 

Learn about the educational philosophy and strong academic program at Whitfield School and the importance of character education at this Open House. Learn about Whitfield's middle and upper school experiences, college counseling resources, arts, athletics and technology integration.

Toddlers and preschoolers will explore nature through tactile activities and crafts at this special "messy" event. Children, from walking to age 5, will have a blast getting messy while learning to discover the world around them. Reservations are recommended. Walk-ins are accepted based on availability.

Not ready for the big scares? Visit the Haunt-ish House at Healthworks Kids' Museum, which is designed to be perfect for Halloween lovers who want all the un-boo-lievable fun without the scary part.

The Edwardsville Children's Museum (ECM) invites the community to get their first look – and first listen – of “Stories of the Nickel Plate” during a special opening event from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. The day includes free admission to ECM and Nickel Plate Station and children’s train rides around the ECM campus.
