St. Louis

Christmas Eve provides a backdrop to explore the arrival of four spirits sent from beyond to teach a miserly Scrooge about the interconnectedness of people and the importance of kindness, compassion, and community. This free performance is geared toward kids in grades kindergarten through grade 5.

Kids ages 8 to 11 will enjoy a true maker experience, including laser cutting, LEGO robotics, clay creations, printmaking and more. 

Trick or treating is free for children up to age 12 and no registration is necessary. 

Come see the floating pumpkin patch at the South City Family YMCA and enjoy a night of spooky fun! There will be swimming, a water slide, pumpkin decorating, family selfie station, and pumpkins to take home. Come prepared to make a splash. 

The long-awaited opening of the St. Louis Wheel at Union Station is here! Families are invited to ride St. Louis' newest attraction on its first day of official operation.

Through story and song, the play shines a light on their dreams, their times with family and friends, and the trials and tribulations they faced as children living in a divided and segregationist city. A full chorus sets the tone with spirituals and anthems of the Civil Rights Movement such as "Amazing Grace," "Oh, Freedom," and "Woke Up This Morning." This production is a collaboration between The Black Rep and COCA.

'Tis the season to be spooky! Dress up your kids in their best costumes and head to the Contemporary Art Museum for a haunted dance party, ghoulish art projects, face painting, a kids' costume contest, and special guests, including Louie from the St. Louis Blues. Registration is requested for this free event.
