The Magic House, MADE for Kids will be hosting an exhibit of its own as TapeScape, an innovative playscape made almost entirely out of packing tape, opens for play on June 3 in the makerspace.
The Kenya's Kids interactive exhibit introduces children to the East African country of Kenya, a country both technologically advanced and filled with longtime traditions. As part of the exhibit, families will discover the many similarities and differences in the daily lives of children in Kenya.
Featuring real puppets created by the Henson Creature Shop, Splash and Bubbles: Dive In, Lend a Fin! takes children on an underwater adventure to learn about the ocean and what they can do to help protect it.
Fishing around for something fun to do? Swim on over to The Magic House for the Splash and Bubbles Breakfast! Guests will have a whale of a time as they nibble on a delicious breakfast, participate in some very fishy art activities, explore the Mu"sea" um and enjoy private playtime in the exhibit Splash and Bubbles: Dive In, Lend a Fin!

This 7,000 square-foot makerspace is designed for kids to play, explore create and collaborate. Visitors have a chance to "paint" on the digital easel, use a pottery wheel to create a clay creation, design for a 3D printer, launch air rockets, build robots and circuits and more!
Storytelling in the Museum is an in-person storytelling event happening at 10:30 a.m. at the Missouri History Museum. This event, perfect for the preschool set, features engaging stories with themes like Grandparents Day, Hispanic Heritage Month, and mealtime. Storytelling in the Museum is free.
