Visit the Loop in University City for the annual Chalk the Loop Festival. Accomplished artists and novices of all ages will be creating their own chalk masterpieces on the sidewalks.
Children 12 and under can register for Chalk Land, a kid-friendly area where kids can discover their inner artist with sidewalk chalking drawings, face painting, arts & crafts, music and more.
Artists of all ages can also enter to participate in the chalk art contest. Entrance fees are $10 for adults 18 and up, $8 for ages 13-17 and $6 for ages 12 and under. Participants receive a premium box of chalk at registration so they can begin to chalk the loop!
The festival is free for onlookers, and all are welcome to check out the artists' work.
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Delmar Loop at the Chuck Berry Plaza. Rain date is June 24. Artist check-in is at 10 a.m.

Open Gym at Miss Kelly's Gym is an opportunity for any child to have supervised free play in the gym. They can work on existing skills, try something new, or simply play around. It is completely up to them! Open Gym is open to both members and non-members ages 12 and under.
Visit the James S. McDonnell Planetarium in Forest Park and see a star show to experience the largest artificial sky in the Western Hemisphere. Star shows are lead LIVE by one of the Planetarium's educators, creating a new and tailored experience for every audience.
Stop in and have some fun in the indoor pool at the Lodge of Des Peres with your little one at this drop-in swim time for kids up to age 6. No pre-registration is needed; Water Waddlers is open to residents and non-residents of Des Peres.
Science Tots is designed for children ages 18 to 36 months. The class provides opportunities to support brain development and learning. Toddlers and their grown-ups will explore STEM topics through songs, stories, hands-on exploration and play.
