It's important for parents to understand how their children are using social media, but it's not easy to keep up with the latest and greatest apps kids and teens are using. Parents who want to learn more can attend this free workshop led by author and professor Julie Smith.
Smith with discuss the things parents generally don't know about the digital world their children are living in. You'll leave with great questions to ask your kids and plenty of information about what to watch for.

While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.
