
The weather might be cold but the winter sky will heat up with fireworks as Kirkwood holds its annual Winter Fireworks Festival on Jan. 1.
The festival begins at 5 p.m., with fireworks at 6:30 over the Kirkwood City Hall. This festival had originally been scheduled for Dec. 26, but was posponed due to excessive rain.
