Join the Ethical Society of Police and get ready to go back to school with backpacks full of school supplies, K-9 and Mounted Patrol demonstrations from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, ice cream, and more at the Back to School Extravaganza!
The Ethical Society of Police will distribute more than 500 backpacks filled with school supplies to kids and families in the St. Louis metro area. School uniforms, shoes and socks, as well as other supplies will be distributed.
At the event, the ESOP is partnering with the Department of Health to provide free, on-site COVID-19 vaccinations. Anyone who gets vaccinated on the day of the event will receive a free bicycle or air conditioner, which were both donated anonymously.
The Back to School Extravanganza will also include a "Pop Up City Hall" led by representatives from Neighborhood Stabilization, Personnel, Parks and Forestry, Department of Human Services, and other areas of the office of the St. Louis Mayor, Tishaura Jones.
The Back to School Extravanganza is on Saturday, August 21, from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. at the Boat House by O'Fallon Park in the city.
Registration is not required and admission is free.

The Preschool Science Series is an open exploration learning lab for young scientists, ages 18 months to 5 years and their families. Activities are designed around research that shows children learn best through play, inquiry and shared experiences with their parents and caregivers.
