Open House at Raintree School

This event has already passed.

You're invited to the January Open House at Raintree School!

Learning is truly transformative when extended beyond the walls of the traditional classroom. Nestled in 11 acres of woodland, prairie, and creek in Town and Country, Raintree School immerses tiny humans in a living classroom where project-based learning thrives, and each child undergoes a unique educational journey. Here, young minds engage with real-world problems, learning not just the 'what,' but the 'how' and 'why,' through a curriculum incorporating design thinking and place-based education.

Raintree's approach is deeply rooted in the principles of Forest School pedagogy. Nature's classroom offers endless opportunities for discovery, where children learn through exploration, provocation, and encounter. This connection with the environment cultivates not only a love for learning but also a profound respect for the natural world. At Raintree, we harness this natural curiosity to empower our students, encouraging them to think critically, solve problems creatively, and collaborate effectively.

The heart of Raintree's philosophy is a commitment to nurturing resilient, innovative thinkers. We embed literacy, math, and science within engaging, meaningful contexts, moving beyond rote memorization to a place where knowledge is alive, exciting, and constantly evolving. Our students don't just absorb information; they learn to question, analyze, and apply their understanding in dynamic ways.

We invite prospective parents to experience the magic of Raintree School at our upcoming open house. It is an opportunity to witness firsthand how our blend of project-based learning, place-based education, design thinking, and forest school pedagogy, creates an unparalleled educational experience. Join us to see how we inspire not just great students, but great thinkers, innovators, and lifelong learners.

The Open House at Raintree School will be held Friday, January 19 from 9:15 to 10:45 a.m.

Please RSVP at raintreeschool.org.
