Maryville University’s Center for Access and Achievement is hosting the STEM Playful Learning Workshop — a hands-on, research-informed professional development experience designed to help educators bring science, technology, engineering, and math to life in the classroom.

The workshop is led by renowned developmental psychologist, bestselling author, and play advocate, Dr. Kathy Hirsh-Pasek. As a professor at Temple University and Senior Fellow at Brookings, she’s spent her career studying how young children learn best — especially through play. Dr. Kathy Hirsh-Pasek will share her groundbreaking research on the power of play in learning!

Discovery Club is an exploration of all kinds of science! Kids ages 7-11 will navigate through the sciences with projects, experiments and activities at this free program. Themes include robots, roller coasters, potato batteries and more.
