SLSO's Soundlab for Families Offers an Exploration of the Power of Music

Families are invited to explore the science and emotion of music during the SLSO SoundLab, a month-long, free virtual experience from the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. Every Saturday in February, families can tune in to Soundlab host Alicia, who will lead them on a journey that begins with how sound can be heard, felt and seen.

Kids and their parents will experience wordless musical conversations and uncover how music can keep us together even when we're apart.

The Symphony's Soundlab for Families is recommended for children ages 6-12. Soundlab sessions will be held on Saturdays in February from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Soundlab sessions include:

Free, on-demand access to four, 15-minute episodes. Each episode explores a different musical theme and is packed full of music performed by SLSO musicians
Four accompanying hands-on activities that are fun for the entire family
A chance to win a visit with an SLSO musician
A special invitation to live screenings of each SLSO Soundlab episode during the virtual Watch Parties, every Saturday morning in February from 10:30-11 a.m.
