The Missouri History Museum celebrates education and family learning with History Exploration Days! On Fridays and Saturdays from September to May (excluding November), families with kids of all ages can explore a different historical topic—together! All activities are FREE. While Friday’s fun-filled activities are geared to homeschoolers, Saturday’s sessions are open to all learners.

Giraffes can’t dance…yet. Learn and grow with Gerald the Giraffe as he overcomes challenges, discovers his talents, and finds music that inspires him to dance. The SLSO brings Gerald’s heartwarming journey to life with a playful performance where kids are invited to make music and find their own beat.

Visit beautiful Queeny Park for an egg hunt for all ages. Kids will be divided by age groups for this hunt, which includes crafts and games. Advance registration is required.

Discover the power of music in movies as the SLSO brings your favorite scores to life. From the soaring adventure of John Williams’ Hook and Star Wars to the magical, dreamlike world of Joe Hisaishi’s Spirited Away—this unique concert experience reveals the composers’ art of creating heart-pounding and unforgettable moments. Whether your teen is a music lover or movie buff, this immersive performance will change the way they hear their favorite soundtracks. Best enjoyed by ages 12 and up.

No school on President's Day? No problem! Visit Vetta Sports for a FREE Kickaroos Open House. Let your little ones (ages 18 months to 6 years) try a Kickaroos or ISL class for free. 

Families are invited to the Saint Louis Art Museum on Sunday afternoon to participate in free hands-on art activities with fun themes and to explore the galleries. Each Family Sunday focuses on a different family-friendly theme.
