Romeo & Zooliet is a wildly fun, family-friendly stage adaptation of Romeo & Juliet! It explores what would happen if animals at the Saint Louis Zoo put on their own Shakespearean performance after zookeepers go home for the night. The show stage and seating area is designed as an enchanting version of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre within the Zoo's Historic Hill area. "Romeo & Zooliet" is produced as a partnership of the Saint Louis Zoo and the St. Louis Shakespeare Festival. The production features dazzling animal puppetry by world-renowned Michael Curry Design, known for its work on Broadway's "The Lion King" and "Frozen," as well as Olympic and Super Bowl ceremonies.

About 70 artists will showcase their creative wares at Francis Park in St. Louis Hills, where visitors can enjoy live music, tasty food and kids' activities as well. Admission is free.

Immerse yourself in a vibrant sea of sunflowers at Eckerts Sunflower Festival. There will be a variety of activities for all ages, like mini photo sessions, face painting, local vendors, a coffee truck, and of course, wandering through the beautiful 2-acre sunflower fields.

Blast off your Independence Day at the Godfrey Family Fun Fest with face painting, inflatables, food trucks, a watermelon eating contest, and fireworks for the whole family in Glazebrook Park.

Enjoy an old-fashioned community festival at Eureka Days. This annual event includes lots of children's activities, carnival rides, fireworks, vendors, live music, bounce houses and lots more. 

Celebrate Saint Louis features an all-new drone show, a Family Fun Zone, live musical performances, interactive exhibits, and fireworks framed by the Gateway Arch. 

Kick off the 4th of July with a parade, then continue the celebration throughout the day with swimming, live music, inflatables and a fireworks show.
