St. Louis County Library's Little Readers Festival
Celebrate reading at the Little Readers Festival. This free event features a variety of activities and performances, and kids ages 5 and under will receive free books and shaved ice. Activities will be provided by Ready Readers, the Missouri History Museum, Cardinals Care, Nine PBS, Florissant Valley Fire Protection, Parents as Teachers, St. Louis Science Center, Missouri Botanical Garden, and many others. Visitors will also enjoy performances by Miss Libby's Music Party and story times with Pigeon.
Owl Prowl at the World Bird Sanctuary
Come over to the dark side and meet the amazing birds that exist by moonlight. Owl Prowls are an opportunity for families to learn about owls from the naturalists at the World Bird Sanctuary.
Chesterfield Fall Festival at Chesterfield Amphitheater
Enjoy tons of family fun at Chesterfield's Fall Festival. There will be live music, miniature pony rides, a petting zoo, carnival rides, pumpkin painting, a mechanical bull, balloon twisters, a photo booth, hay rides and plenty of festival food. Visit the vendor area to shop for crafts, too.
Twilight Thursdays Concert Series at the Missouri History Museum
Free outdoor concerts are back at the Missouri History Museum. The fall series of concerts features favorite bands, food trucks, and exhibits inside the museum that are open to the public until 8 p.m. on concert nights. Concerts are held from 6-8 p.m.
Best of Missouri Market
The Best of Missouri Market at the Missouri Botanical Garden features more than 150 vendors offering handcrafted items, locally produced food, native plants, herbs, live music and local brews, plus a two-acre Kid's Corner with farm animals (like llamas, alpacas and sheep!), circus performers, face painting, crafts, and a pumpkin patch with decorating let by Perennial.
The Great Gather Round at St. Vincent's Greenway
Gather at Debaliviere Circle surrounding the Missouri History Museum for the Great Gather Round, a community meal on the St. Vincent's Greenway. There will be activities and games for all ages, local food trucks, free sweet treat, music with DJ Jillian, and more.
Harvest Festival in Tower Grove Park
Enjoy food from dozens of local restaurants and refreshments from local breweries and wineries. There will also be lots of vendor booths featuring farmers and artisans, and live music.
