Things That Go is a fun, free big truck event where kids can see all kinds of vehicles up close! There will be construction equipment, race cars, fire trucks, police vehicles, service trucks, recreational vehicles, ambulances, helicopters, tow trucks and more. 

Bring the whole family to Purina Farms to celebrate the arrival of Spring! At Purina Farms' popular Springtime Village you'll find baby animals, games, activities, live entertainment and all the fun of the farm. Advance registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome as capacity allows.

Thousands flock to Kimmswick each year for the Apple Butter Festival to buy the local historical society's famous apple butter on Market Street. Kids will love the train rides, petting zoo, pony rides and more.

August means back-to-school for most area students, so the Back to School Sales Tax Holiday is important for St. Louis families to note.  In the state of Missouri, the three-day holiday begins at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, August 2 and runs through Sunday, August 4.

Celebrate Spring with fun on the farm at Purina Farms! The Visitor Center at Purina Farms opens on March 23 with a celebration for all ages. Enjoy cupcakes (while supplies last), and scavenger hunts, meet adoptable dogs and puppies, and meet Purina Farms' new mascot, Checkerboard Charlie!
