The airplane has changed our world, but do we really understand exactly how much? Living in the Age of Airplanes reminds us how profoundly this amazing invention has changed the way we do just about everything.

Bring your family to free Makerspace Sundays at Craft Alliance and experience the 3D Makerbot printers, Liquid 3D printer, 3D scanner, CNC Router and CAD software in the Boeing Graphics Studio.

An instructor will be on hand to help you explore the programs, the 3D printer, laser cutter and other digital technology.

Sessions are free and they fill up fast. Registration is required by the Thursday prior to class. Held on Sundays through May 15 (no class March 27).

School Daze Camps at Artscope are a great way for kids to spend their days when school is out. Kids will make fabulous art projects, explore Tower Grove Park, play games, sing songs and make new friends.

Join the chefs from Treats Unleashed and the cooks from the Humane Society of Missouri to mix, roll and bake cookies for the special canine guests at the Humane Society's shelter.

The Book Buddies Shelter Pet Program lets kids to adore animals make a real difference in the lives of shelter pets.

As part of the Book Buddies Shelter Pet Program with the Humane Society of Missouri, kids ages 6-12 are trained to read to shelter pets. Reading to the shelter dogs helps to bring comfort them and reduces anxiety. It also makes the pet more adoptable. Reading helps shy dogs learn to relax around people and teaches high energy dogs and calm behavior is desirable.
