The Academy of Nature and Wildlife Arts invites ages 3 and up to come paint outdoors in Queeny Park. Come out and see professional artists at work, get inspired, and let youthful creativity flow onto a canvas. Families will also enjoy live music and food trucks, including Blue Fired Pizza and Kona Shaved Ice. The event is free and all materials will be provided. 

At this health, safety and fitness-focused event, kids ages 5-10 can run a timed, obstacle course-style race and compete in simulated firefighting skills to see if they can meet the Healthy Heroes Firefighter Challenge.

Visit Creation Station at the Museum of Transportation, a hands-on learning environment dedicated to introducing young children to all modes of transportation.

Kids of all ages can learn about gardening and horticulture at this free outdoor gardening workshop. Participants will begin a gardening project that they can take home and grow themselves.

Families are invited to learn about the 200 different species of owls that share our earth and meet several of them at this free community event at the Chesterfield Amphitheater.
