Bring your kids and learn about a wide variety of summer learning and summer fun opportunities for kids of all ages. The Summer Expo is presented by Parkway-Rockwood Community Ed, sponsored by STL Parent and STL Camps, and is open to all families from any school district across the St. Louis metro area. Play, learn, and create on Community School’s beautiful 18-acre campus this summer! Camps are available for children age 3 through eighth grade and include full- and half-day options. Choose from dozens of activities led by experienced faculty and partners, including En Passant Chess Club, Mad Science of St. Louis, STAGES, The Fencers Academy, The Recreation Academy, and more. Programming also features Community’s signature FUNdamentals Camp, designed to help children beat the summer slump in August. Camps have limited enrollment, so register today!

Great Rivers Greenway has teamed up with the Saint Louis Zoo for the fifth annual free greenway scavenger hunt. Community members are invited to look for the many varieties of native bees that you can see buzzing around greenways and search for special hidden souvenirs you can take home! Starting August 1, BEE on the lookout for hand-painted bee rocks along all 140+ miles of greenways. Saint Louis Zoo ALIVE (Active Leaders in Volunteer Education) teen volunteers hand-painted hundreds of rocks like three different species of bees found along the greenways: American bumblebee, brown-belted bumblebee and two-spotted bumblebee, plus a few of the endangered rusty patched bumblebee.
