The Lantern Festival is a yearly tradition in China, culminating in the Chinese New Year Celebration. With the help of the St. Louis Modern Chinese School and the Chinese Culture and Education Services, the magic of the Lantern Festival is coming to The Magic House.

Children and families can celebrate with Chinese face painting, Lunar Calendar arts and crafts, and, on Saturday, a Chinese Tea Ceremony and Lion Dance. Visitor can also experience the new Children's China exhibit at The Magic House.

Activities are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 7 and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 8 and are free with Magic House admission.
