
Kids at the beginner to intermediate level can receive free chess lessons each Sunday at the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of St. Louis in the Central West End. Your child can learn chess even if they have never played before.
The Kids' Pure Beginner Class meets at 1 p.m. and is a 30-minute class for new chess players.
The Kids' Chess for Rookies Class also meets at 1 p.m. and is a 60-minute class for beginner and intermediate chess players and is taught by the Resident Grandmaster.
