Visit the Missouri History Museum this summer for all kinds of family fun that's free! On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, children will enjoy art, storytelling, special entertaining guests, musical workshops, crafts, performances by St. Louis favorites like the Muny Kids, Celia and Friends, and lots more.
Activities begin at 10:30 a.m. each day and are held throughout the museum.

July 2: Folk Music in the Melting Pot presented by The Sheldon. Enjoy the folk music of America, from Colonial-era ballads and Southern spirituals, to songs of the cowboys and folk songs of the 20th century.

July 9: Celia and Friends Puppet Show.

July 11: "Tar Beach" by Faith Ringgold. Local authors from the St. Louis Black Authors of Children's Literature Initiative will share their original stories as well as this classic story about Cassie Louise Lightfoot.
July 13: Storytelling and crafts.
July 16: Carnival Celebrations of West Indies presented by Pinx Academy of Dance. Take a journey through the Caribbean and learn the history and evolution of Carnival celebrations.
July 17: Storytelling and crafts.
July 18: Maybe Something Beautiful" by F. Isabel Campoy and Theresa Howell. Step into a story about Mira, who brightens up her gray community with colorful artwork in Maybe Something Beautiful: How Art Transformed a Neighborhood.
July 20: Storytelling and crafts.
July 23: Musical Muny! Join Robert Bernstein from Robert's Music Together to celebrate 100 years of St. Louis's legendary outdoor theater.
July 24: Storytelling and crafts.
July 25: Change the World Before Bedtime. Step into a special superhero and learn how young people can take simple actions to make a big difference in the world.

Holiday Magic features festive decorations throughout the museum, Winter Wonderscape, a Snowball Showdown, Story Time with Mrs. Claus & Santa, a special Toddler Time experience and more.
Discovery Club is an exploration of all kinds of science! Kids ages 7-11 will navigate through the sciences with projects, experiments and activities at this free program. Themes include robots, roller coasters, potato batteries and more.
