Parents and educators are invited to this presentation concerning the "twice exceptional child," gifted students who learn differently or have a learning disability. Topics covered include the cognitive and emtional challenges faced by such students, how to identify learning disabilities in gifted students and how learning disabilities may affect the transition to college.
The seminar is presented by Jim Russell, Ph.D., N.C.C., L.P.C, who has studied, lectured and counseled people for more than 20 years on this topic and is a leading expert in the field.

Young visitors and their families are invited to the Energy Stage to enjoy interactive read-alouds of science-themed picture books. Story times are followed by a short demonstration or discussion connected to the book's main concepts.

Little Red Hen Play Dates are a wonderful way for children ages 0-6 and their caregivers to experience the magic of Waldorf Early Childhood Education.
