Dress up your kids in their favorite costumes and go trick-or-treating at businesses in the Wildwood Town Center! In addition to lots of treats, trick-or-treaters will enjoy free hot dogs, a costume contest, and giveaways. Free. 

The Second Annual City Wide Trunk or Treat is fun for the whole family! This free event includes lots of candy and prizes for kids, three bounce houses and an inflatable slide, costume contest, face painting, games, a coloring table, fire truck and a DJ. Everyone is welcome. 

Join Opera Theatre of St. Louis for a fun, casual and engaging afternoon of opera tailored toward young people with sensory processing sensitivities. 

Grab your family and friends, fill up your picnic basket and join Artscope for its Family Picnic and Fun Fair. There will be fun for all ages, including carnival-style games, art activities for kids to make and take with them, face painting, raffle, live music from Firedog and DJ 18 and Counting, popsicles from Poptimism, food for purchase from Harvest Food Truck, cotton candy and more.

Meet at the West Entrance Plaza at the Gateway Arch for Ghosts of the Arch Grounds. Visitors will learn about the various incarnations of the Arch Grounds as they evolved from French fur trading post to warehouse district to the present Gateway Arch National Park. Experience the ups and downs of historical figures like Pierre Laclede, Thomas Targee, James Eads and Percy Green.

Enjoy free crafts, kids' activities and snacks, and wear your costumes. 

Kids will learn the science behind air pressure as they create a whirlwind with an Airzooka vortex generator and make pucks and balls levitate. They'll also launch foam rockets with the Air Blaster Kit. 

Kids ages 14 and under are invited to join the team from Bloxels for The Magic House @ MADE's first ever Game-A-Thon.

Activities are designed to be simple enough for ages 4 and up to enjoy, yet complex enough that more experienced young artists can take their projects to another level.

With school back in full swing, plan a fun escape to Marcus Theatres for Disney's Enchanted Tales Film Series! On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through September 29, head to Marcus Theatres in Chesterfield, Des Peres, O'Fallon, Mo., Ronnie's in South County and St. Charles for an amazing line-up featuring Cinderella, Peter Pan and The Little Mermaid.

Calling all ghosts, goblins, witches, princes and princesses! You're invited to a Halloween Party at the Foundry Art Centre in St. Charles for some trick or treating, crafts, a scavenger hunt, a costume contest, music and even a (non-scary) haunted house!

Celebrate nocturnal animals and all the creepy, crawly and cool critters that call Missouri home. At Tails of the Night, visitors at the Wildlife Rescue Center can enjoy costumed hikes, campfires, have close-up critter encounters, and take a behind-the-scenes tour of the wild animal hospital. There will also be autumn treats, glow-in-the-dark interactive art installations, and nature crafts.

In honor of Patroit Day, help honor the Kirkwood fire fighters and police officers with a visit to Kirkwood Safety Town at The Magic House.
