The popular Stingrays at Caribbean Cove exhibit opens for the 2025 season at the Saint Louis Zoo on April 4. At this exhibit you can watch, touch and occasionally feed the unique and fascinating stingrays as they glide through a warm, saltwater pool.
Cownose rays and southern stingrays, along with bonnethead, brown-banded and white-spotted bamboo sharks glide through the saltwater pool located near Lakeside Cafe. Guests are encouraged to dip their hands into the water and allow the animals to touch them. These are hardy species that interact well with people in a safe and fun manner.
Stingrays at Caribbean Cove will be open through November 9, 2025.
Admission to the Zoo is free. Admission to Stingrays at Caribbean Cove is $4.95 per person for ages 2 and up, and free for children under age 2. Food for feeding the stingrays is $2 per cup (one piece) or 3 for $5.
