Tower Grove Park's new Clydesdale, Moonshine, will be ready to begin leading carriage rides on April 1, and the park is hosting a Children's Art Contest to select who will receive the first ride.
The park invites children ages 12 and under to create their best rendering of Moonshine using crayon, ink, acrylic paint, water color, colored pencils, or markers. Moonshine (with the help from the park staff), will then select his favorite depiction and the winning artist will be awarded Moonshine's very first carriage ride. Contest submissions must be received by March 17.
The winning artist is allowed up to four guests to join him or her for the 30-minute ride and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The winner will be notified on March 23. Submissions can be dropped off at the park office or mailed to:

Little Red Hen Play Dates are a wonderful way for children ages 0-6 and their caregivers to experience the magic of Waldorf Early Childhood Education. You and your child will bake bread — a weekly occurrence in the Waldorf School's Early Childhood Program — listen to stories; join in a circle time filled with songs, rhymes, and movement; and explore the outdoors in the mini meadow.
