Specialty summer camps for children who learn differently.
Miriam School and Learning Center's academic and social skills specialty camps are ideal for children entering grades K-8 who need specialized learning programs to progress. Families choose Miriam's summer camps because their children receive personalized instruction that caters to campers who learn differently. Small groups, a variety of research-based interventions, and certified/licensed professionals ensure campers receive the instruction they need to improve self-confidence and build skills. Miriam helps students with or without diagnosed disabilities learn and grow.
Miriam School and Learning Center provides campers entering grades K-8 with fun opportunities to maintain or improve reading, writing, speech, and social/emotional skills in our specialty summer camps. Let us help set your child up for success with academic, therapeutic, executive function, and social/emotional skills!
Mix and match one or two camps per session to make a half- or full-day camp experience. Morning sessions run from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and afternoon sessions operate from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Campers participate in a supervised lunch from 11 a.m. to noon when they attend a morning and afternoon camp in the same session. When campers participate in a morning camp and they just want to have fun the rest of the day, campers can enroll in the Ultimate Camp Experience for their afternoon camp session. This camp offers an exciting traditional summer camp experience within a small camper-to-staff ratio and with staff who understand children who learn differently. Camp activities will focus on the camp session theme. The camper must also enroll in a morning camp in the same session.
