Join your SLSO for a fun-filled Saturday morning that will have you and your youngest music-lovers dancing in your seats! The Lion and the Mouse is the perfect first introduction to orchestral music. The fully interactive, 30-minute concert will feature a story, movement activities, and dancers from COCA. This is not your ordinary symphony concert, this is an immersive experience created especially for children ages 3-6.
Doors open at 10:30 am for pre-concert activities including instrument-playing and creative movement. Music-making kits will be available for $5 at the concert. You’ll be able to play along with your SLSO musicians and then take it home for more music-making fun!
Based on the book The Lion and the Mouse by Jenny Broom, illustrated by Nahta Nój.
Created in partnership with COCA.
