Visit Mastodon State Park with your Junior Explorer for outdoor learning and fun! A park representative will help you explore the outdoors through hands-on activities. The Junior Explorers workshops are free and designed for families with young children. Registration is not necessary.

While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.
