Are your kids crazy for dinosaurs? Don’t miss a special opportunity to sleep amid these prehistoric beasts at The Saint Louis Science Center’s “Dreaming with Dinos” sleepover on Friday, March 19. This indoor “camping trip” is an overnight adventure that will teach your kids about learn about paleontology and allow them to spend the night inside the Dinosaurs Unearthed exhibition at the Science Center with more than 20 life-sized dinosaur replicas watching over them.
Dinosaurs Unearthed is the largest dinosaur exhibition ever hosted in St. Louis and combines life-like sculptures with rare, feathered fossils to send you back in time for a walk among the dinosaurs in their natural habitats. This is the North American debut tour for many of the exhibition's artifacts.
Check-in for the “Dreaming with Dinos” event begins at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 19, and the event ends Saturday morning at 10 a.m. It is appropriate for families and children age 6 and up, with one chaperone per every five children. The event includes a screening of the OMNIMAX Film Sea Monsters, hands-on dinosaur activities, Pizza Hut dinner, snack and hot breakfast.
