Visiting Artist Series at The Magic House

Make your mark with the printmakers from Central Print. Learn the craft of woodblock and pressure printing, and create your own two-color prints and valentines. 

Experience Argentina's Niños, The new exhibit at The Magic House that captures the daily life and culture of Artentina, and join Tango St. Louis to celebrate the dramatic music and dance popular in the unique South American country. 

The Imaginary Theatre Company presents this new musical adaptation of Mary Griggs Can Coorhis' short story "The Boy with the Box." At Christmas, Tom is eager to show off his new skates, until someone appears with the newer, better pair. But when Tom meets a friend with no holiday gift at all, he learns about the true spirit of giving. 

The beat goes on! Kids can listen as Adam Rugo plays the djembe, a goblet-shaped hand drum originating from West Africa, then shake, rattle and roll with Rugo as he plays a variety of African percussion instruments.

Kids can get behind the wheel as ceramicists from Krueger Pottery demonstrate the art of working with clay. Kids will coil, pinch and throw their own earthenware creations. Part of the Visiting Artist Series.
