
Spend your summer at The Whitfield School, where fun, learning, and adventure come together! With programs for students in grades K-12, Whitfield’s summer offerings provide a mix of engaging activities, athletic development, and academic enrichment—all on our beautiful campus. Lunch is included with full-day camps, and before and after care is available from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, making it a convenient option for families.
Camp Whitfield
Designed for rising Kindergarten through 7th graders, Camp Whitfield offers a full-day adventure filled with hands-on activities, STEM projects, creative arts, leadership development, and outdoor play. Each week features an exciting new theme, keeping campers engaged as they explore Whitfield’s expansive indoor and outdoor spaces. With access to gymnasiums, science labs, art studios, and nature trails, there’s something for every camper to discover.
Whitfield Sports Camps
Open to athletes of all skill levels, Whitfield Sports Camps provide specialized training for students in grades K-12 across a range of sports, including strength and conditioning, cheer and dance, basketball, volleyball, and multi-sport team camps. With expert coaching, a focus on teamwork, and state-of-the-art athletic facilities, young athletes can develop their skills and confidence while staying active all summer long. Many sports camps can also be combined with Camp Whitfield for a full-day experience.
Whitfield Scholars
For middle and high school students, Whitfield Scholars offers academic and skill-based enrichment through camps in technology, animation, test prep, and leadership training. Students can dive into specialized topics like 3D printing, robotics, video game design, artificial intelligence, and SSAT prep, with expert instructors guiding them through hands-on learning experiences. Whether students are looking to explore new skills or get ahead academically, these camps provide the perfect summer challenge.

Tiny Trekkers is a weekly nature-based program for preschoolers (ages 3-5) at the Nature Institute. Preschoolers explore the nearly 500 acres of preserves through hands-on experiences out in nature. Kids stomp through creeks, use nets to catch and observe insects, taste edible plants, and learn about the natural world.
Read to a friendly therapy dog from DUO Dogs, Inc. After the story, the dog's handler will answer any questions kids have about therapy dogs, pet care and more. For ages 3-11. Registration is required for this free program.
Join in on First Art, a free art program for toddlers where the focus is on the process of making art rather than the finished product. Dress to get messy!
Open Gym at Miss Kelly's Gym is an opportunity for any child to have supervised free play in the gym. They can work on existing skills, try something new, or simply play around. It is completely up to them! Open Gym is open to both members and non-members ages 12 and under.
Visit the James S. McDonnell Planetarium in Forest Park and see a star show to experience the largest artificial sky in the Western Hemisphere. Star shows are lead LIVE by one of the Planetarium's educators, creating a new and tailored experience for every audience.
