Rock Climbing Summer Camps at Upper Limits

Upper Limits Summer Camps are created by climbers, for climbers. Five-day sessions start in June and are organized into two age groups: Rock Dwellers (ages 7-10) and Cliff Hangers (ages 11-15). Full-day and half-day options are available for both age groups at all St. Louis locations:1874 Lackland Hill Parkway, Maryland Heights, 63146, and 17375 Edison Avenue, Chesterfield, 63005. Each age group alternates schedules so there is always an option available for your kids! This free workshop for parent and child includes a potty-themed storytime, and parents & caregivers will receive information to get them started on the potty training process. Attendees will also receive a potty seat, step stool, training pants and a potty-themed board book.

Great Rivers Greenway has teamed up with the Saint Louis Zoo for the fifth annual free greenway scavenger hunt. Community members are invited to look for the many varieties of native bees that you can see buzzing around greenways and search for special hidden souvenirs you can take home! Starting August 1, BEE on the lookout for hand-painted bee rocks along all 140+ miles of greenways. Saint Louis Zoo ALIVE (Active Leaders in Volunteer Education) teen volunteers hand-painted hundreds of rocks like three different species of bees found along the greenways: American bumblebee, brown-belted bumblebee and two-spotted bumblebee, plus a few of the endangered rusty patched bumblebee.
