The Missouri History Museum invites families to revisit life in the mid-1800s with a folktale performance of And the Broom Jumped Back: A Pioneer Tale of Romance and Marriage. Join Papa as he finds a bride along the Oregon Trail and learn about the customs of the time for "tying the knot." Children and parents alike will delight in learning about pioneer life from St. Louis to Independence, Missouri, as well as the journey out west.
The free performance takes place Sunday, July 16 at 3 p.m. at the Missouri History Museum in the Lee Auditorium.
