Celebrate World Circus Day by learning how to juggle! All ages are welcome to take part in free juggling lessons from the experts at Circus Harmony. Juggling lessons will take place in the center ring on the third floor of City Museum from 4 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 21. Reservations are not required.
World Circus Day is a unique opportunity for circuses and performers to honor the beauty and skillfulness of this classic art form as well as its growing social role and increasing prestige. This year's celebration is especially significant because it coincides with the 250th anniversary of the founding of the modern circus.
The World Circus Day juggling class is free with admission to the City Museum and will follow Circus Harmony's 3 p.m. performance. Those who can't participate in the free juggling class on the 21st are welcome to join the organization's Juggling Club, which meets every Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m.
