The School of Rock is offering free music workshops for kids and teens at its location in Ballwin. The school has teamed up with the St. Louis Blues Society to offer four free blues workshops with local musicians, covering harmonica, bass, drums and guitar.

Scheduled workshops are:

Oct. 6: Blues Harmonica with Eric McSpadden.
Oct. 20: Bass with Eugene Johnson.
Nov. 3: Drums with Kirk Grice.
Nov. 17: Guitar with Rich McDonough.

All workshops begin at 7:30 p.m. The musicians will perform and talk about blues music, share their knowledge and experience, and jam with the School of Rock students.
