The History Clubhouse at the Missouri History Museum has reopened for one-hour play sessions by reservation. The award-winning History Clubhouse is an interactive space designed for children and families with lots of hands-on experiences showcasing state and local history.
Start by exploring downtown St. Louis, complete with re-creations of iconic buildings that stand up to 15 feet tall. Then take a trolley ride back in time to serve food at a cafe during the 1904 World's Fair, pilot a steamboat on the Mississippi River, and play house in the ancient city of Cahokia. Dress up in period costumes, put on a puppet show, fish over the edge of a canoe, and so much more!
Capacity is limited and new procedures are in place to support a safe experience for visitors and staff. Free reservations can be made for one-hour play sessions Wednesday through Sunday at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
All visitors over age 9 who have not been vaccinated are required to wear a face mask that fully covers the nose and mouth. The History Clubhouse is sanitized daily.
