Celebrate 50 years of Metro Theater Company at the Fall Family Festival. Enjoy a full weekend of free theater, education and fun for families and young people. All are welcome at the Fall Family Festival, featuring multiple free performances each day of Metro Theater Company productions and a celebration of the creative spirit of the company's two co-founders Zaro Weil and Lynn Rubright.
Plus, enjoy a scavenger hunt, arts and crafts, and other hands-on learning activities for young people of all ages. Food trucks will be on-site for al fresco dining, and other arts and education partners from across the region are participating.
Festival events take place at the Grandel Theatre, Grand Center Arts Academy and on Grandel Square.
The Fall Family Festival is happening October 21-22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Free performances include Maddi's Friday at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and Eddie & Vinnie at noon and 3 p.m.

Science Saturdays combine stories and science make-and-take activities for science-inspired fun! Science Saturdays are geared toward with children who are candidates for Pre Kindergarten, Junior Kindergarten and Senior Kindergarten.
The Saint Louis Science Center has expanded its Preschool Science Series to include new offerings for different age groups of young scientists. Storybook STEM is for ages 3 to 5.
Young visitors and their families are invited to the Energy Stage to enjoy interactive read-alouds of science-themed picture books. Story times are followed by a short demonstration or discussion connected to the book's main concepts.
Explore classrooms, meet expert faculty, and learn all about the benefits of experiential learning for Preschool through Eighth Grade.
