Moms, grandmas and great-grandmas can enjoy free admission at City Museum on Mother's Day. Bring the kids for a special mom-themed craft project at Art City, then swing by the Cabin Inn or Beatnik Bob's to enjoy a Mom-mosa or a City Museum Hard Seltzer from 4 Hands Brewing. 

Celebrate a magical Mother's Day at The Magic House, and in honor of their special day, mothers will be admitted free of charge.

The Magic House, MADE for Kids will be hosting an exhibit of its own as TapeScape, an innovative playscape made almost entirely out of packing tape, opens for play on June 3 in the makerspace. 

Visit Mastodon State Park with your Junior Explorer for outdoor learning and fun! A park representative will help you explore the outdoors through hands-on activities. Kids should dress for the weather in clothes that can get wet and messy.

Kids ages 3-6 are invited to participate in this bike, run and swim competition. 

Visit The Rawlings Experience in Westport Plaza for a free family movie, fun activities like yard games and face painting, and the Soda Fountain Express.

Kick off the 4th of July with a parade, then continue the celebration throughout the day with swimming, live music, inflatables and a fireworks show.

The free festival includes live music from Butch Wax and the Hollywoods followed by fireworks at 9 p.m. 

Activities include strawberry picking, festival foods, the children’s playground, a petting zoo, carnival rides, wagon rides and more. 

Join the Fourth of July celebration in Ellisville in Bluebird Park complete with fun activities for kids, live music and fireworks. 

Spend the morning with a "real" unicorn and some not-so-real dragons, and take pictures with them, at Brentwood Park. 

Experience abstract painting beyond the studio at Painting in the Park, a family workshop at Laumeier Sculpture Park. This workshop is for ages 4-12 with a favorite grownup.

This fun, festive block party is free and open to all! With a focus on literacy, the Ready Readers Block Party will have book and bike giveaways, free food, prizes, storytelling, circus performers, face painting, and more!

The nationally acclaimed Laumeier Sculpture Park Art Fair is a three-day, outdoor event held annually on Mother's Day weekend. It features local, regional and national artists, local food and beverage vendors, live music, and the Creation Location offering hands-on, creative art experiences for kids.

Camp out under the stars in Emmenegar Park with your family and enjoy a bonfire, games, owl prowl hike, camp songs and more.

Riverfest 2024 features fireworks over the river, a carnival, live music, craft and food vendors, and lots of fun kids activities.

Kids can enjoy games, face painting, prizes, safety-focused activities, free bicycle helmet fittings, and hot dogs as they learn about water safety, fire safety, personal safety, poison control and 911 skills.
