At this free hands-on workshop, kids will build a rain guage house so they can measure the rain dropped by spring storms, then paint it to take home.
All participants will receive a free Kids Workshop apron, commemorative pin and certificate of achievement. They'll also get a sense of pride and accomplishment. Once the frame is built, participants will decorate it with paint and add their own photo.
All supplies are provided. 9 a.m. to noon at local Home Depot stores. To register and find the workshop nearest you, go to homedepot.com/workshops
