Kids who love to fish or just want to try it out are invited to participate in the Chesterfield Fishing Derby at Central Park Lake. Registration is required and the derby is limited to the first 100 kids who register.
Kids ages 5 to 12 can compete in contests and win awards. Parents may help kids if needed.

The Youth Fishing Derby will be held May 6 from 9 to noon at Central Park Lake in Chesterfield. Check-in opens at 8 a.m. at the amphitheater. Cost is $5 per child. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
