Warm the hearts (and bellies) of homeless dogs for Valentine's Day! Join the chefs from Treats Unleashed and the cooks from the Humane Society of Missouri to mix, roll and bake cookies for the special canine guests at the Humane Society's shelter.
Kids ages 6 to 12 are invited to participate in this special event, where they'll get to take some tasty tidbits home for their own pampered pooches, and meet shelter pets too.
There will also be a behind-the-scenes tour of the shelter and veterinary medical center.
10 a.m. to noon at the Humane Society's Headquarters. Cost is $10 per child.
