Keeper chats and other activities will take place at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the River's Edge inside the Zoo. World Elephant Day activities are happening from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
You'll learn about how the Zoo cares for its elephant family and how they care for elephants in the wild, win prizes, see and touch elephant biofacts, and explore ways you and your family can help save elephants from extinction.
World Elephant Day is observed globally to celebrate the world's largest land animals and bring attention to critical threats they are facing.
