What does blue sound like? What does green do when it wakes up in the morning? Color Play explores how children think about color through a performance directly inspired by their ideas, movements and words.

Color Play, part of the COCA Presents series of family theater, gives the youngest audiences the opportunity to enter an interactive world where colors can make noises, have wild dances, and create delightful surprises. The performance will involve live music, exploratory art, and moments of interaction with the audience.

Color Play is built in collaboration with the Lawrence Art Center in Lawrence, Kansas. Color Play is designed for ages 2-5 and their families.

Shows are set for:

Thursday, September 27 at 6 p.m.

Friday, September 28 at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Saturday, September 29 at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Sunday, September 30 at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.
