Join the Challenger Learning Center in celebration of its 15-year anniversary! This celebration is a community event for all ages, and includes simulated space missions, drone demonstrations, hands-on activities for kids and a screening of the film Earthrise. Admission also includes lunch! Visitors will also see the winners and entries of the Center's logo design competition and rocket design competition.
Cost is $5 per person in advance, $7 at the door and includes all activities and lunch! Activities will take place at the Challenger Learning Center and McCluer South-Berkeley High School next door to the Center. Parking is free.
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Challenger Learning Center in Ferguson.

The Challenger Learning Center offers simulated space missions and other science education programs for schools, scouts, corporations and the general public. The Challenger Center-St. Louis is a partnership of the Ferguson-Florissant School District, Saint Louis Science Center and EducationPlus. The Center is part of the Challenger Center for Space Science Education, an international not-for-profit education organization found in April 1986 by the families of the astronauts tragically lost during the Challenger space shuttle mission.
At this free art program for ages 3-6 the focus is on the process of making art rather than the finished product. Dress to get messy!
The Preschool Science Series is an open exploration learning lab for young scientists, ages 18 months to 5 years and their families. Activities are designed around research that shows children learn best through play, inquiry and shared experiences with their parents and caregivers.
Meet up in Forest Park for a fun storytime followed by nature adventures! These free story times are open to children of all ages and their caregivers.
Is it time to potty train your toddler? The St. Louis County Library is offering Potty Training 101 to parents of children ages 2-3. This free workshop for parent and child includes a potty-themed storytime, and parents & caregivers will receive information to get them started on the potty training process. Attendees will also receive a potty seat, step stool, training pants and a potty-themed board book.
