COCA begins a new tradition with its premiere of the COCAwrites Festival, a showcase of new work for multigenerational audiences created by a multigenerational team of theater artists. This year, the festival takes place outdoors on COCA's east lot, as well as virtually, on March 27-28 and is part of the COCA Presents season.
The COCAwrites Festival includes presentations of student plays, including Hate the Sin, Love the Sinner by COCA student Nikki Prodes and A Day in the Life of Finnigan Daniels by COCA student Sophia Levinson.
The plays will be followed by a showing of the film Suffer the Children.
COCAwrites Festival is happening March 27-28, 7 p.m. each day, outdoors in person and virtually at COCA in University City. Productions are recommended for ages 11 and up.
