Experience an outdoor nature adventure with a literary twist! Chesterfield's Central Park is home to the Storybook Walk, where you can take your kids for an educational nature walk centered around a favorite children's book. Two pages of a children's book that is hand-picked by staff will be placed at each of 18 stations around the park, and families can make their way through the park to finish the book.
A new book is placed throughout the park every two months. The book for November and December is "William's Winter Nap" by Linda Ashman.
The Storybook Walk in Chesterfield's Central Park is free and open during daylight hours. After the Storybook Walk be sure to stop in to the St. Louis County Library to check out other fun books.

The Preschool Science Series is an open exploration learning lab for young scientists, ages 18 months to 5 years and their families. Activities are designed around research that shows children learn best through play, inquiry and shared experiences with their parents and caregivers.
Open Gym at Miss Kelly's Gym is an opportunity for any child to have supervised free play in the gym. They can work on existing skills, try something new, or simply play around. It is completely up to them! Open Gym is open to both members and non-members ages 12 and under.
