Pianos for People Summer Music Camps are now open for registration! Group beginner classes are for students who are new to the instrument or have taken lessons for less than 6 months. These will be offered twice at each of our locations. At our Cherokee location, they will be held from June 7-10 or June 21-24. In Ferguson, we will offer these same sessions from July 12-15 and July 19-22. Piano Enrichment camps are for students who have taken two or more semesters of lessons. These will be offered at Cherokee from July 14-17 and in Ferguson from July 19-22.
A variety of fun, engaging camp sessions will be offered as well as Intro to Piano for Beginners, Learn Fun Songs from Popular Movies, Learn How to Transpose, Intro to Music Production, Fun with Music Theory, Music Therapy, Meet the Composer, and Piano Master Class.
Due to COVID-19, all safety guidelines from the CDC will be in place, including small group sizes, social distancing, temperature checks, required masks, and frequent disinfecting. All camps take place from 10 a.m. to noon and last 50 minutes. Admission is based on income.
