Laura Ingalls Wilder is famous for her series of Little House on the Prairie books, but fans may not know the real-life story behind these beloved tales. Join the Imaginary Theatre Company for a look at the remarkable writer, philosopher, and chronicler who left us a charming and captivating record of life as an American pioneer.

In St. Louis for a limited engagement! The American Ballet Theatre Studio Company showcases the talent of ballet's rising stars. Principle dancers Misty Copeland and David Hallberg are just a few alumni of the company Dance Magazine calls "gracious and technically spectacular."

The Jr. NBA Skills Challenge provides boys and girls, ages 13 and younger, the opportunity to showcase their basketball skills. Free and open to all. Pre-registration is not required. 

Your whole family can be superheroes when you participate in the Superhero Dash, a 5K, one-mile run, walk and roll fundraiser for Unlimited Play. Sign up early to get your official Superhero Dash t-shirt. Costumes are welcome! Unlimited Play supports accessible playgrounds, because all kids deserve to have playgrounds where limitations are forgotten and differences are celebrated. 

Teens can team up and play laser tag among the books at this free laser tag event at the library.

New for 2018! Kids, teens and families can dig a little deeper into specific art media at Artscope workshops.

Using single-board Raspberry Pi computers, teens and tweens can learn basic computer science and programming by building real computers with their very own hands.
