Fall Family Hayrides in Creve Coeur Park

Bring your whole family for this special evening in Creve Coeur Park. You'll enjoy live country music, marshmallows and hot chocolate, and hayrides for people of all abilities (a ramp assisted hay wagon will be available).

Lawn chairs are welcome, and the music starts at 6:30 p.m.

Hayride times are 6, 7 and 8 p.m. on Sept. 23 and Sept. 24.  Cost is $10 per person. Advance registration is required by calling 314-615-8480, and please request special accommodations if needed.

Living History Hayrides at Fort Belle Fontaine

Enjoy fall at historic Fort Belle Fontaine on a hay wagon where costumed re-enactors from the War of 1812, Civil War, World War II and other periods explain their uniforms and equipment.

History Hayrides at Fort Belle Fontaine are $7 a person and limited space is available. Some walking is required. Advance reservations are required.

Saturday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 16 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Greater St. Louis Metro Area Train Show

The Greater St. Louis Metro Area Train Show features an entire gymnasium full of hundreds of feet of operating train layouts and another gymnasium full of train sets and Thomas Trains for sale by dealers from across the country.

Kids can get up close to a large "garden railroad" featuring trains running on the gymnasium floor. There will also be a large operating layout made entirely of LEGOS, a Thomas the Tank model train, and dozens of detailed scenes including a lock and dam and automobile plant.
