Back-to-School Splash

Pokemon Go Night at the Saint Louis Science Center

Catch 'em all and try to be the best there ever was during Pokemon Go Night at the Saint Louis Science Center. There will be amazing science demonstrations, Pokemon-themed food and drink specials and more.

The Science Center will be open late 'til 8 with lure modules set at their Pokestops all night. Show your team pride by battling for control of the gym located at the James S. McDonnell Planetarium. The Planetarium will be lighted in the team color of whoever controls it at the end of the night! Don't miss the demos from local augmented reality and virtual reality developers.

Digging for Dinosaurs

Kids can learn all about their favorite prehistoric creatures at Digging for Dinosaurs, a free workshop for preschoolers age 3-5.

Presented by Mad Science of St. Louis, in this workshop, get an up-close look at a dinosaur tooth and participate in a mini dinosaur dig. Registration is required.

Free Soccer Clinic for Boys and Girls at Maryville University

Kids ages 6 to 12 are invited to participate in a free soccer clinic with instructors and players from the Maryville men's soccer team. 

Participants will learn various technical skills and small-sided games, and will get the chance to interact with the college players and coaches and getting autographs following the clinic.

Celebrate the 100th birthday of the National Park Service with a Supersized Centennial Celebration at the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial.
